Jason Chance Grossmann, 42, of Glenville, WV died on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Charleston Area Medical Center-General.

He was born in Newton, NJ on November 6, 1973 a son of Steven P. Grossmann of Bradenton, FL and Elizabeth K. Setty of Glenville, WV.

He attended Glenville State College after serving in the US Army where he was stationed in Virginia, Missouri, Bosnia, and Hanau, Germany. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and outdoor life. He cooked at Days Inn of Flatwoods, Stonewall Jackson Resort, Pioneer Grill, and Rusty Musket at GSC.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandmothers, Kathryn E. Setty of Xenia, Ohio and Jean Grossmann of Bradenton, FL; sister Kathryn Woodford and husband, Ronald of Harrisville, WV; niece, Amanda K. Hogan and husband, Mark; nephews, Jesse Alborano, Louis Alborano, and Joshua Woodford; and significant other, Christine Smith of Normantown, WV.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Delmis Setty and Ralph Grossmann.

A graveside funeral service and interment will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Three Poplar Cemetery on Holt Run Rd., Glenville with Rev. Joe Seely. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is assisting the Grossman family with final arrangements.
