Lillian C. (Morris) Davis, 76, of Grantsville, WV passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her residence. She was a Christian and a member of Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was born December 1, 1939 in Smithville, WV, the daughter of the late George Edward and Amy Brissey Morris.
She married Robert G. (Tank) Davis on October 17, 1958 and they were happily married for over 55 years.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Pam) Davis and daughter, Jill (Dave) Trippett all of Grantsville, WV; her grandchildren, Melanie (Quienton) Garrett of Elizabeth, WV and Marcus Davis of Grantsville, WV; step-grandchild, Kristie (Travis) Callihan of Huntington, WV; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Ashton Garrett and Albany and Baron Davis; step-great-grandchildren, Raegen and Chase Callihan; sister, Mildred Heiskell of Parkersburg, WV; sisters-in-law, Hope Morris of Nitro, WV; Martha Morris of Vienna, WV; Shirley Saunders of Bluefield, VA; Clarice Whytsell of Grantsville, WV and Janet Davis of Grantsville, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Lil was a 1958 graduate of Harrisville High School. She spent her life devoted to her parents, husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandhchildren, and extended family. She was very active in Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church, serving as a lay member to the WV Annual Conference for several years. She also taught Sunday School, was a choir member, and did many more seen and unseen tasks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Edward Morris, George Morris, and Lawrence Morris.

A funeral service will be held at Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church, Grantsville, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, is arranging the services of Mrs. Davis.
