Rick E. Thomas, 56, of Millstone, WV went to be with our Lord and Savior due to a car accident on November 18, 2016.
He was born March 7, 1960, in Antioch, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Kathleen Marks Thomas. He was a loving husband to his wife, Katheran Conley Thomas for 38 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed the outdoors with his grandchildren. He was a well0known cabinet maker, which he loved doing. He was a long-time Calhoun County resident and known by many. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Katheran, at their Millstone residence; three daughters, Tina (Eric) Gregory of Hockley, Texas; Jenny (Mark) Helmick of Shock, WV; and Cristy (Jason) Ash of Spencer, WV; three sisters, Betty Jo Boothe of Grantsville, WV; Jeannie (Howard) Starcher of Speedwell, TN, and Charlotte Horn of Russell, KY; two brothers, Allen (Mary) Thomas of Sandridge, WV and Edward (Mary) Thomas of Leesburg, FL. Also surviving are four granddaughters, three grandsons, and two uncles.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, William Thomas and Chucky Thomas III; two sisters, Sandy Ferrebee and Peggy Broduer, and one brother-in-law, Denzil Boothe.
There will be no public memorial service and Rick will be cremated, as were his wishes. The family will have a private memorial service per Rick’s request. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). M.A.D.D, WV State Office, P.O.
