Obituary for Mabyn Deweese (Schartiger)
Mabyn Schartiger Deweese, 94, of Orma, WV passed away October 24, 2016 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV.
She was born June 4, 1922, at Minnora, WV, a daughter of the late Russell and Ida Hamrick Schartiger.
She is survived by four sons, Clarence Deweese of Orma, WV; Rick Deweese of Huntington, WV; Ron Deweese of Minnora, WV; and David Deweese of Arnoldsburg, WV; five daughters, Berdeal Conley of Morgantown, WV; Arlena Jarvis of Orma, WV; Judy Tucker of Parkersburg, WV; Joyce Sue Blauvelt of Ft. Myers, FL; and Jill Metz of Orma, WV; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Rex Lonzo Deweese; daughter, Wilma Blauvelt; great-grandson, Jeffrey Jarvis; three sisters, Irene Metheney, Mary Lee Cork, and Mae Hicks.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Hickman officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will following in Minnora Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
