Denver Paul “Bunion” Cottrell, 71, of Nicut ,WV passed away in his home on January 19, 2017.
Paul was born in Calhoun country, on February 14,1945 to Ezra and Ellen Cottrell. Paul was well known for is many years playing Bluegrass music around the state.

Paul survived by his wife Betty Joan Cottrell; they was married for 51 years. Together they had 2 children, Angela and Gregory. Paul had 7 grandkids and 10 great-grandkids. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg, WV, on January 22, 2017 at 2:00 with Rev. Chris Stout officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be in McCumbers Cemetery on Mount Run. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
