Obituary for Vesta Virginia Arnold (Starcher)
Vesta (Starcher) Arnold, 93, of Arnoldsburg, WV Passed away April 10, 2017.
She was born Jan. 14, 1924 at Stintson, WV to the late Buna Hunt and Orville Starcher.
She was raised by her grandparents, the late Ninny and Sherden Hunt.
She married Glen Arnold May 17, 1942
The last ten and a half years she has been in the excellent care of Rick, Arlene and Kelley Sampson at Aging with Grace.
Surviving are four sons, Marvin and Millie, Randall and Mila, Kenny and Debbie all of Arnoldsburg, WV and Larry and Elizabeth of Massillon, Ohio; two daughters, Deloris Brenneman and the late George Brenneman of Akron, Ohio and Barbara Freed and Pete of Millstone, WV; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Marlyn Starcher, Kayo Starcher, and the late Leo Sampson; sisters, Elva May, Lidia Parker, Mardell Nevans and the late Ruby Metheny.
Other than her parents and grandparents she was preceded by her husband, Glen Arnold; son-in-law, George Brenneman; her grandson, Steve Arnold; brother, Leo Sampson and sister, Ruby Metheny.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg with visitation from noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
