Harold Ray Bell, 75, of Big Springs passed away July 3, 2017 after battling cancer. Harold was born July 14, 1941 in Calhoun County, son of the late Lawrence and Dollie Ann (Dawson) Bell. He enjoyed playing music with his grandson, Shane Ingram Jr. and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ellen Dye Bell of 54 years; Daughter, Lorena E. Ingram; Son, Herbert R. Bell of Big Springs; Grandson, Shane Ingram Jr. (Taylor Carpenter); Granddaughter Cassey Bell Haught (Derek) and 3 great grandchildren, Piper Ingram, Jaxon Ingram and Quinn Haught. He was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters, little Harl Bell, Wyona Bell, Zelda Bell Headley (Jewell), Willie (Bill) Bell (Hazel), Harl Bell, Cecil Bell (Blanche), Dollie Waneda Bell Jones (Jessie), Leona Ruth Bell Jones (Floyd), Wynonna Cheryl Bell Lott (Harold), Lawrence Jack Bell (Billie Nelson), Ethel Marie Bell Wyers (Harland), Sharon Lorena Wright (Herbert), Martha Bell Echard (Gene), and niece, Hazel Marie Bell Watson (Denny), and nephew Robert Lee Bell, raised by mother, Dollie Bell.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Grantsville on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev Roger Carter officiating.
