Janice (Keeton) See 90, of Braxton County passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 in Charleston CAMC hospital from septic shock. Born February 11, 1927 to the late Chapman and Ada Keeton. She is also preceded in death by Arnett See, her husband of 65 years, brothers Stanton Jett, Darrell Keeton and Roger Keeton, sisters Juanita Waefler, Hope Sparks, Charlotte Maxwell, and Maxine Uhl. She is survived by her sisters Arlene Morrison and Beverly Keeton, son Ledford “Butch” (Janice) See, daughter Sheila Criner, grand children Pamela (James) Montgomery, Treasa “Teri” (Robert) Holm, great grandchildren Kylie Holm, Callie Montgomery and Kadin Holm, and numerous nieces and nephews that were very special to her. Janice grew up mostly in Calhoun County and was a 1946 graduate of Calhoun County High School. As an adult her primary focus in life was being a Godly wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She also leaves behind many sons and daughters by other mothers. A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m. Interment immediately following at the See Family Cemetery with her pastor Michael Jackson officiating.
