Obituary for Darrell Eugene Shock
Darrell E. Shock age 86, of Arnoldsburg, WV passed away on October 15, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center-General.
He was the beloved son of the late Hilda & Robert Shock, born on May 15, 1931.
He was the loving father to Teresa Garney, R. Mark Shock, and the late Sheryl LaFontaine. He was the caring brother of Grace and Ruby.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters. He was grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 4. Darrell was the epitome of the West Virginia State Motto; "Mountaineers are always free." He dedicated his life to family, friends, and faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service to be held at Rush Run Baptist Church on Sunday October 22, 2017. Viewing at 11:00 a.m. and funeral service at 12:00 noon with Rev. John Vannoy officiating. Interment will be in Shock Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com.
