Obituary for Norma Jean Reip (Brady)

Norma Jean Brady Reip, 80, of Orma, WV passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on October 20, 2017 after a long-fought battle with chronic illness.
She was born in Rosedale, WV on October 7, 1937, a daughter of the late Ray Brady and Hailey Miller Brady.
She is survived by her loving husband Dalton Reip, Jr. of Orma, two daughters Carol (Larry) Pritt of Orma; Barbara (Jerry) McKown of Orma and one son D. Lee (Lisa) Reip of Orma. She has nine grandchildren Michael (Chrystal) Reip of Grantsville, Jeremy White of Charleston, Jamie McKown (Jeremy Ferrell) of Orma, Joshua (Cheri) White of Arnoldsburg, Glen (Jessica) McKown of Arnoldsburg, Justin (Holly) McKown of Orma, Kameron Reip of Orma, Karrissa Reip of Orma, Jason (Elizabeth) White of Logan. She has seventeen great-grandchildren Nicolas Reip, Haylee Reip, Hannah Johnson, Brealle Arthur, Braydon McKown, Braylea McKown, Sarah Deem, Katelyn Deem, David Deem, Brandon Ferrell, Braiden Ferrell, Eli Ferrell, Kallah Reip, Ashton White, Channing White, Axton White, and Elaina White. She has eight living brothers and sisters, and was proceeded in death by one daughter Ellen Jean White, her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Norma lived a happy life surrounded by family in which she found great enjoyment. She was a member of the Millstone Church of Christ. She enjoyed watching TV, especially detective series and her daily soap opera. She found great joy in reading her bible.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg at 3:00 p.m. with Minister Danny Lambey officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday. The final resting place will be at the Reip cemetery on Euclid-Nicut Rd., Orma, WV.
