Frank Louis Vannoy, 75, of Reedy, WV passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, WV.
He was born March 30, 1942 at Russett, WV, a son of the late Von Benjamin and Martha Stump Vannoy.
He had been employed by Rubber Faricators of Grantsville and Burke Parsons Bowlby as an electrician. He volunteered with Reedy Lions Club, Reedy Fire Department, Roane County Economic Authority, and Roane County Clerk as a voting poll worker. He was a retired paster of North Fork Baptist Church in Ritchie County and Cairo Baptist Church in Ritchie County, and had been Mayor of Reedy.
He is survived by sisters, Alice Hargis (Mike Short) of Huntington, WV and Janie (Jimmy) Moss of Normantown, WV; brother, John (Patricia) Vannoy of Mineral Wells, WV; daughters, Carolyn (Randy) Burdette of Kenna, WV, and Donna (Jimmie) Greathouse of Spencer, WV; Son, Paul (Gloria) Vannoy of Reedy, WV; sister-in-law, Ruth Cook; brother-in-law, David Campbell; many nieces, nephews, granddaughters, grandsons, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Georgia Berneal Campbell Vannoy (2016).
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. at Arnoldsburg, WV on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating.
