Melvin Lee Davisson, 74, of Minnora, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Glenville Center, Glenville, WV.
He was born March 20, 1943 to the late Lloyd Davisson and Delphia Jane Miller Davisson.
He graduated from Calhoun County High School in 1963. He served in the U S Army as a specialist E4 during Vietnam.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Davisson of Summerfield, FL; Jennifer (Jason) Nettles of Chloe, WV; and Regina Davisson of Arnoldsburg, WV; three grandchildren, Jonathan Canton and Whitney and Lindsey Nettles; one sister, Ivy (Paul) Brannon of Fountain Hills, AZ; one brother, Glen Davisson of Orrville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jennings Davisson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Clark Jarvis Cemetery, Chloe, WV on Thursday, December 21, 2017 with Jason Nettles officiating.
