David Allen Laughlin, 66, of Millstone, WV, died Saturday, December 23, 3017 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV following an illness.
He was born April 2, 1951, in Ashland, Ohio, but was raised in Calhoun County, West Virginia. He was a son of the late Roy and Ursula Poling Laughlin. He worked for 20 years at National Standard Company in Ohio, New Jersey, and Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vonda Laughlin; two sons, David A. Laughlin, II of Arnoldsburg, WV and Daniel A. Laughlin of Millstone, WV; brothers Mike Laughlin of Arnoldsburg, WV; Greg (Patty) Laughlin of Mt. Zion, WV; and Jeremy Laughlin of Arnoldsburg, WV; sisters, Debbie (Kenny) Arnold of Arnoldsburg, WV; Dawn Brady (Mike McKown) of Arnoldsburg, WV; Cindy Laughlin (Harvey Long) of Hurricane, WV; and LaFawn Laughlin of Arnoldsburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Steve Laughlin.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelly Mace and Pastor Cleston Garrett officiating.
