Obituary for William Paul Vincent

William Paul Vincent, 87, of Parkersburg, WV went be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday December 23, 2017 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV at 1:00 pm, surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 23, 1930 in Chloe, WV, a son of the late Kenneth and Alda Sharp Vincent.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, June Cooper; brother, Sturgill Vincent; two sons, Roger Vincent and Gary Vincent; and one daughter Patricia Bailey.
He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Alma Gay Vincent, of Parkersburg, WV; three sons, William Richard Vincent of Woodsfeild Ohio; Michael Lee (Margret) Vincent of Parkersburg, WV; and Gregory Allen (Melody) Vincent of Mineral Wells, WV; one daughter, Donna Sue (Bob) Sayger also of Parkersburg, WV and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Teamsters and Carpenters Unions for many years as well as a member of the New England Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending church, serving the lord, building and spending time with his friends and family.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the CVU staff at Camden Clark, James Cooper and Pastor Roger Johnson and The New England Baptist Church for all their help and support.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg WV on Thursday, December 28, 2017 with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Coen Cemetery, Chloe, WV. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
