Freddie Veon “Pooch” Kerby, 62, of Grantsville, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV.
He was born May 18, 1955 in Joker, WV; a son of the late Freddie Leon and Helen Grace Riggs Kerby.
He is survived by two sisters, Sue Stallman of Jefferson, Ohio and Diane Miller of Creston, WV; a daughter, Sabrina Perry of Spencer, WV; four sons, Dustin Starcher of Hur, WV; Damon Westfall of Grantsville, WV; Pete Westfall of Grantsville, WV; and Shawn Leavitt of Grantsville, WV; his significant other, JoAnn Westfall of Grantsville, WV; four grandchildren, Gavin Kerby, Craig Perry, Damon Westfall, Jr., and Justin Crihfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Leon Kerby and two sisters, Annabelle Jones and Linda Criss.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV with Rev. Kevin Church officiating.
