Obituary for Bernard "Jackie" Mathess
Bernard “Jackie” Mathess, 65, of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Grantsville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at TJ Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, KY.
He was born March 11, 1952 in Calhoun County, WV, a son of the late Bernard and Margrette Eagle Mathess.
He is survived by three sisters: Louise Richards of Glasgow, KY; Phyllis Lahman (Merlyn) of Grantsville, WV; and Jeanie Bunch of Elizabeth, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Scottie Mathess and sister, Vivian McIntyre.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Law officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
