I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to you, Ms. Kathy and the Smith family and friends because of losing Daniel recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his Word. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15, Isaiah 25:8, Isaiah 26:19)

So sorry for ur loss! Smitty as we all on the EQT inspection team called him, was a dear friend to us all. He was always the calm and wise go to for me when things got stressful. I worked with Smitty for several years and always treasured his advise. Always a smile, and calming nature in much needed times. Always the one to reach out to stay in touch with all his friends and co-workers! I'll surely miss talking and joking with my old friend! What a caring and generous man he always was to me!
