Condolences

Condolence From: Weldon Burrows
Condolence: I am sorry for your loss. I think Leone may be my second cousin. My Mom and Dad were George (born 1917) and Avis Burrows. Dad's Mom and Dad were Hallie and Fred (Lawrence) Burrows. I've been to Burrows reunions in Grantsville when I was a kid -I'm 77 now. I only have a vague memory of anyone except Grandpa's brother Lewis who looked a little like Harry Truman. p.s. Grandma Hallie's maiden name was also Burrows. I don't know how or if she was related to Grandpa Fred. Sincerely, Weldon Burrows

Condolence: I wish you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow. (2 Corinthians 1:2-4) The Bible gives true hope of being reunited again with your loved one. (John 5:28, 29) The Bible promises that your loved one will soon come back to life in the resurrection in the paradise on the earth. (Acts 24:15) Sincerely, S. Ellis

Condolence: My condolences to the Burrows families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Leone. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it" Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you. For more encouraging thoughts, please visit jw.org
