Obituary for Georgia B Vannoy (Campbell)
Georgia B Vannoy was carried home in the arms of her Saviour on Sunday, August 14, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born May 26, 1940.
She was employed by the Kellwood Company for over 30 years before they closed their Spencer operation. After Kellwood she was employed by Roane General Hospital in the dietary department until she retired in 2006. She was a member of the Reedy Lions Club. She was a baptist by faith.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lizzie Campbell of Sand Ridge. She was also preceeded in death by one sister Oleta Campbell Smith and her husband Dennis Smith.
She is survived by her husband Frank L Vannoy of Reedy, two daughters: Carolyn Burdette of Charleston and Donna Greathouse (Jimmie) of Spencer, one son: Paul Vannoy (Gloria) of Reedy. Grandchildren Marshall, Brandon and Nathan Burdette, Jessica Vannoy Myers, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Jacob Greathouse and six great-grandchildren. One sister Ruth Cook and one brother David Campbell.
Services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, at 2pm with two hours visitation prior to the service with Reverend Robert Perine officiating.
Burial will be in the Stump Family Cemetary at Russett. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
