Obituary for Wesley Nicholas
Wesley Bernell Nicholas, 74, of Orma, WV passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.
He was born July 24, 1942, in Orma, WV, a son of the late Warren and Delphia Riffle Nicholas.
He is survived by a son, John (Barb) Nicholas of Newport News, VA; a daughter, Lisa (George) Church of Arnoldsburg, WV; a sister, Esther Wilson of Grantsville, WV; a brother, Vance (Lucy) Nicholas of Orrville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Kelsea Lynch, Wesley Nicholas, Logan Cain, Marah (Greg) Myers; Samantha (Andrew) Norman, and Kayla Church; 3 great-grandchildre, Payten Cain, Zaelyn Cain, and Avery Norman; several nieces and a host of cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Barbara, and two brothers, Robert and Darrell.
He had been a manager of NAPA in Spencer, WV for 45 years and several years at Willard C. Starcher. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and his dogs, Katie and Millie very much.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV with Rev. Kenneth Parsons officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at Conley Cemetery, Bear Run Rd., Orma. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
