Naomi Ruth King Jarvis passed away peacefully on February 21, 2017.
Naomi was born on October 27, 1941 at home on Beech. She was the daughter of the late Raymond King and Irene Mariah Ellison King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Eric” Jarvis, her brother, Andrew Molessa, her grandparents who raised her, John C. and Fannie L. Ellison, and several aunts and uncles.
Naomi enjoyed reading, antiquing, yard sales, traveling and her dog Fancy.
Naomi is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Charles William “Bill” Jarvis. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their families;
Daughter Linda and her husband Ken, children Erica and Elijah and grandson Jaxen.
Daughter Debra and her husband Joe, children Ashley, Cortney, Emily and Michael. Grandchildren, Braxton, Bailey, Lauren, Spencer, Bentley, Henry, Brooks and Elli Joy.
Son Scott and his wife Debbie, children Matthew and Jason, and granddaughter Gracie.
Visitation will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, West Virginia Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00. The funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Internment at Prudence Chapel at Minnora. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Upper West Fork Park.
