Glenna Dale Carpenter, 87, of Orma, WV died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV.
She was born in Spencer, WV on March 4, 1930, a daughter of the late Perry Edward Knotts and Greta Baker Knotts. She was a retired Magistrate Clerk and a member of Albert’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Sand Ridge.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sherri Earl and Karen Arnold; grandchildren, Chad Earl, Cody Earl, Casey Earl, Tammy Petrowicz and Tonya Daniels; and seven great-grandchildren, Casset Earl, Dakota Earl, Jackson Earl, Maddox Earl, Wyatt Earl, Troy Petrowicz, and Justin Petrowicz.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Arlen Carpenter; three brothers, Tommy Knotts, Harry (Bud) Knotts, and Carroll Knotts; and sister, Fern Deel.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Weaver officiating.
