Albert Lee "Al"  Keeton
Albert “Al” L Keeton, 76, retired United States Marine Corp 1st Sergeant, of Beaufort, SC, passed away November 16, 2017.
He was born in Tarif, WV on February 1, 1941.
He is survived by his wife Donna Sue (Westfall) Keeton of Beaufort, SC; Darlene (Keeton) Andrews, daughter, married to Roger Andrews of Longwood, FL; Steve Keeton, son of New Symrna Beach, FL. Also, Charles (brother) and Loretta Keeton; Teresa (sister) and Rodney Harper of Myrtle Beach. 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
H is preceded in death by his parents, Broncis Lee Keeton and Rilma Chandler.
Al Keeton made the Marine Corps his life enlisting at the age of 17 years old. He served 20 years active and 10 years inactive. He and his wife settled in Beaufort, SC after retirement, where he became a speaker at the graduations of new Marine Recruits on Paris Island. After retirement he became a real estate agent.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Ivan Westfall officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Minnora Cemetery with military honors. Online condolences may be expresses at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
