Obituary for Ronald Lee Boatright

Ronald Lee Boatright, 68, of Big Springs, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018 after a strong battle with cancer.

He was born on July 25, 1949, a son of the late Ray and Leta (Stump) Boatright.

Ron was born and lived a wonderful life in Calhoun County. He leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Gretchen; three sons, Rick and Jason Boatright, and Justin (Ashley) Boatright; two daughters, Jami (Lazaro) Wilson, and Casey Boatright; and five grandchildren, Cole Boatright, Amelia Perdomo, Jacob Perdomo, Avery Boatright and Lucas Perdomo. He also leaves behind three sisters, Marie Morrell, Velma Parsons and Allie Boggs, and his brother Ronzel Boatright; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great friends and “adopted” kids.

Along with his parents, preceding him in death are his sister Almeda Starcher and his brother Roland Boatright.

It was Ron’s wish that no services be held. The family is planning a memorial get together at a later date. Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV is handling the final arrangements for the Boatright family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
