Obituary for Mary Belle Kipe (Himes)
Mary Belle Kipe, 82, of Grantsville, WV died peacefully early January 7, 2019 at Worthington Healthcare Center in Parkersburg.
She was born February 28, 1936 to Austen and Elva (Pickens) Himes in Harrison County. She made her home in Grantsville. She attended the First Baptist Church in Grantsville and retired from BF Goodrich.
She enjoyed gardening, needle work, sewing, and cake decorating. She was a wonderful cook.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and two brothers and her husband James Kipe.
She is survived by a brother Richard Himes of West Milford, WV and five children, Toni Newberry (Alan) of Vienna, Donnetta Yoak (Randy) of Grantsville, Glennis “Jake” Yoak of Grantsville, Robert Kipe of Grantsville and Harry Kipe of Pennsboro. Mary was grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation be at 2:00 - 4:00. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
