Obituary for Julia Ann Ray (Alvis)
Julia Ann Ray, 94, of Creston, WV passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Roane Co., WV on January 7, 1923, a daughter of the late James Haden and Rosa Phillips Alvis.
She is survived by sons Jim W. Ray and Charles Ray; grandchildren, Charles Whetzel Ray and wife, Heather; Debra Carr and friend, Rodney Faughn; great-granddaughter, Ashley Potts; and close friends, Billy Jones and Rena and David Bowman.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Snyder Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
