Obituary for Dennis Ray Bailey
Dennis Ray Bailey, 65, of Mt. Zion W.V. died at home on October 17, 2017.
He was born in Logan, WV on June 20, 1952 to the late Jacqueline Bailey Skutt. He graduated from Logan High School and served in the US Army. He worked several years in coal mines and retired from C&M trucking Company.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother Elsie Chappell (whom raised him) and brothers John Bailey and Charles Bailey; and sisters, Delia Smith and Anna Lou Nagy.
Survived by; Wife Kathy Bailey of 42 years, daughters Cathy (Shawn) Rush of Millstone, Donna Bailey (Gary Johnson) of Sand Ridge; granddaughters Andrea Bailey (Steve Wilmoth) of Davisville; Tiffany and Selina Rush of Millstone, grandsons Austin Bailey of Mt. Zion, Chris Johnson of Sand Ridge, Dennis Wayne Bailey of Grantsville, great grandkids Trinity and Jaxsyn Wilmoth of Davisville, brothers Larry (Phyllis) Bailey of Logan, WV; Robert Bailey of Max Meadows, VA; Paul (Sarah) Bailey of Lacey, WA; Timmy (Janice) Bailey of Accoville, WV; Tommy (Sharon) Bailey of Lundale, WV; Robert Skutt of Finland; Sisters: Regenia Klok of Whitman, WV; Vickie (James) Osborne of Lorado, WV; Susie (Clinton) Burgess of Lyburn, WV.
A funeral service will be on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Arnoldsburg, WV at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelly Mace officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from noon-2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Clayton Stump Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
